When I installed a new card AMD 7000 series I lost Soundmax I don't know how to put it back .
Info about my system:
Intel CORE 2 DUO PC E7300 @ 2.66GHZ 2.67GHZ
Windows 7 64bit Service Pack 1.
When I go to my Control Panel and click on the Soundmax logo, nothing is happening. Thanks in advance.

The AMD device shouldn't interfere with your SoundMax device. If it doesn't work, then it means something happened with the driver or the application. My advice is to remove the software and the driver using Uninstall a Program in Control panel. After this procedure, reboot the PC and reinstall the driver package. It's the simplest and most convenient way to overcome this issue.
The driver for the device can be found on the manufacturer's website or on the website for your motherboard.
Hello, Half a year ago or so I removed all kinds of software from my pc. Among it was something of Soundmax. In the process, I discovered that Soundmax is (also?) the name of my PC's audio system. There is no Soundmax left in the software list, but I found Soundmax synthesizer on the computer. Is this Soundmax synthesizer part of my pc's essential software or is it (a leftover of) a "hobby " program, put there by a former user?
There is a file "Analog Devices" with in it only the empty file "Soundmax" and there are the files swsetup\SP2703 and SP36228, both with in them a file called Soundmax Synthesizer.

You've just removed the application while the driver was preserved. In this case, you should install the Soundmax application again because there won't be a way to configure the audio card for surround system. The application provided additional functionality for sound configuration.
Does anybody has this driver for Windows 7? My hardware is onboard of P5VD1-X Asus motherboard. The software that came with my motherboard is not working.

This motherboard does not have support for Windows 7. However, you can try installing drivers created for Windows Vista. It is known that the compatibility of Vista drivers with Windows 7 is rather high.
I deleted SoundMax, but now I can't restore it. What should I do?

Soundmax is software which comes bundled with your soundcard drivers. It's that part of the package which helps you configure audio devices available in your system. Getting the software back is easy because all you have to do is to re-install the package from the support CD. But before you do that you should go to Control Panel > Add & Remove Programs and find the entry Soundmax... and click Remove. Perform a restart of your computer and then install the sound drivers package again using the autorun menu from your support CD. Soundmax belongs to sound cards that are incorporated into the main board.
If you have an IM application, you can use its built-in testing procedure to test the sound of your computer or use the built-in sound recorder application found by default in Windows Vista. Go to Start > Run and type %SystemRoot%\system32\SoundRecorder.exe.
I have SoundMAX installed and when I plug in the microphone, it doesn't work. I have set it at "SoundMAX HD audio", but it doesn't work anyway.

You need to open the SoundMAX application from the system tray, then double click the pink input and select the microphone. This is the common error that can be fixed using this way.
The driver is out of date. Can I have an update? On Skype, my partner can not her me and the microphone is good.

Go to SoundMAX application and click on the pink input. Select microphone then restart Skype. Eventually, perform a test call to test the new settings.
Open the support application from the system tray and adjust the volume from that location. Headphone doesn't require additional volume adjusting other than the one found in the support application.

I accidentally deleted my SoundMAX program while cleaning stuff up on the computer today. What can I do to get my sound back?
